Using pop up displays as trade show displays

Pop-Up Displays  are a popular style of trade show displays, and are seen the world over at various large and small events. When should your company use a pop up display and when when should you consider a different trade show display? Determining the answer to this question will probably help you in deciding whether you need to invest in other, more complex styles of trade show display, beyond a table top display and pop up banner stand.

If your business isn’t used to presenting a trade show exhibit you may fall into the trap of  ”one size fits all”  -  roll out the display, smile nicely, give out a few promotional gifts and brochures and rake in the cash! I’m sure this isn’t your mindset, and you are aware of the time and money which trade shows eat up. Being prepared for the various types of trade show situation will help you decide which trade show display you will need to use in every situation.

Trade show displays are physical screens and backdrops that are created to fill an exhibit space.  The whole nature of trade shows is that they are temporary! This can prove a bit of a challenge for exhibitors wanting to tap in to the possibilities available when thinking about using multimedia as part of your trade show display.

Most table top displays, pop up displays etc are now having to be supplemented by modular displays which can support LCD monitors, lighting, computer systems etc. In the non too distant past it was essential to have a solid counter to hold up your equipment. Those of you who have had to carry around the equipment for a large trade show display will probably reach for your lower back as we are talking about this! (more…)
